Habits
I read a lot of behavior science books and try to incorporate them into daily life. This one was pretty good.
In short, you can change habits. You don't think you can, but you can (if you want to). This is a helpful skill to master at any time for any purpose. The information should not be as big a surprise as the method to create change (again, if that is what you want badly enough to take meaningful action). Self diagnosis takes a special focus, and this book can provide tips, but, like anything, it can't make you get off your butt and do it.
I would not put this book among the best of this type, but it was still interesting. It has a greater focus on one topic than most others.
Still, I cannot help but think about how Ben Franklin just keeps getting copied. We have added studies to it over the past two-hundred-plus years, but I'm not sure that has done more than better illustrate a point you could get by... well... reading Ben Franklin.
Ben just keeps one step ahead.
